Administrative Core
The Administrative Core of CHARM builds on the existing structure of the UCSF Center for Vulnerable Populations at San Francisco General Hospital (CVP), but is unique in its multi-department focus, including investigators from medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and family medicine at San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH). The administrative core sets overall direction and leadership to CHARM by developing CHARM's mission and aim and selecting personnel and projects to meet these aims. Allocates resources and provides oversight to the other cores and subprojects and facilitates communication, cross-fertilization and synergy. Convenes the Advisory Board and the Executive Committee and assures CHARM's sustainability.
The Administrative Core oversees the functioning of the other Cores. More importantly, the Administrative Core works to assure cohesion, collaboration, and interconnection between the other 3 Cores and the projects.
Dr. Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo is the overall PI of CHARM and leads the Administrative Core.
