San Francisco State University and UCSF, through the Center for Vulnerable Populations, was recently awarded $17 million from the NIH to increase graduation rates for underrepresented minorities in science. The project, Building Infrastructure Leading to Diversity (SF BUILD) was recently mentioned in a San Francisco Chronicle article. CVP Director and CHARM PI Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo, PhD, MD, MAS will be the UCSF lead for SF BUILD.
